I just bought my switch and am having the very same problem. My TV is a JVC HD-ILA (HD-52Z585). Everytime I turn on the TV (connected to Bell Expressvu satelite receiver) I have to play with the Rocketfish remote in order to get a signal to TV. Extremely anoying - now have to turn on TV, turn on satelite receiver and turn off/turn on HMDI switch.

Hello guycomo,
Welcome to Community@ Rocketfish™!
The only thing I can really add to what was in the other thread is to try a HDMI reset to see if that will fix the handshake issue. Unplug everything from the power. Disconnect all HDMI cables from everything. The I need you to reconnect the HDMI cables only. Next is the important part. Plug in the Bell Satellite box first and give it a minute to boot up. Next plug in the HDMI switch and give it a few seconds to boot up. The last thing to plug in is the TV. That will reset the handshake and hopefully solve the issue.

I went into my Panasonic TV settings and turned the "ctl HDMI" from on to off and now my RF-G1185 stays on all the time.
