basic question

this will sound very basic. i have a typical 5.1 dolby surround sound wired system setup. on the rocketfish site i am able to find the various component parts necessary to convert it to a wireless system but am looking for something that shows a typical setup with all the components i'll need to convert my setup to a wireless one. is there a section on the site that shows typical setups with all the components required?

Re: basic question

Hello josephwlong,

Unfortunately there isn't a place on the site to help you build your wireless system because of the massive amount of possibilities.  However if you post what system components you have, how they are connected to each other, and were you want to incorporate wireless components I can give you my recommendations.

Re: basic question

Hello Joe,

Based on the setup you currently have I would recommend the following to products:

RF-WHTIB  to wirelessly connect the rear speakers.

RF-WSW312 to wirelessly connect the subwoofer.

That would leave your front and center channel speakers wired to the stereo.  I usually recommend limiting the wireless components to help prevent interference and keep the setup as simple as possible.  Hope that helps!
