I just bought a RT-BTR212 and have been trying to pair it with my computer in hopes of playing some music from my library. However, I'm having issues pairing the two. My computer doesn't seem to find it, even though my Kindle does. I talked to the folks at the local Best Buy and they mentioned that there should be a way to force it into discoverable mode. Mind you, they also said it's supposed to have a power button. Any advice? I really don't want to return it. Thanks in advance.

Just an update and continued question. I returned the 212 and exchanged it for a BTR313, but am still having the issue. I called customer support and together we weren't able to come up with a solution. Calling the makers of my dongle, they're thinking it might be a malfunctioning dongle. Still open to any other ideas if anyone has any.

Since the Rocketfish device you are using is working on the Kindle, the logical assumption is that the issue is in the computer. Are you able to pair other bluetooth devices with the computer, is this the only one you are having issues with?
